To celebrate the 75th anniversary of WAZ, CQ is pleased to announce the Diamond Jubilee Worked All Zones award.

The CQ DX CW Award is issued to an amateur radio station submitting proof of contact with 100 or more countries. 

CQ DX Field award

The CQ DX Field Award is issued in four categories—Mixed, CW, SSB, and Digital—for confirmed two-way contacts with 50 or more Grid Fields, based on the Maidenhead grid system. There are 324 Grid Fields, 10-degree latitude by 20-degree longitude rectangles lettered AA through RR, covering the entire world. Applications should be submitted on the official CQ DX Field Award application (form 2504).

The CQ DX Marathon is a year-long activity, beginning at 0000 UTC January 1 and ending at 2359 UTC December 31. Each year’s event is separate.

CQ iDX award

The CQ iDX Award is an introductory award for contacts made between licensed amateurs in different countries by means of Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) linking systems. These systems include, but are not limited to, IRLP (Internet Radio Linking Project), EchoLink, WIRES, and internet-linked remote base systems, which use the internet and VoIP to connect amateur radio repeaters and operators. At least one station in each contact must be transmitting via radio in the amateur bands (e.g., computer-tocomputer Echolink QSOs do not count toward this award). SWLs may qualify by monitoring the required contacts and receiving confirmation from at least one of the stations involved.

USA-CA award

USA-CA is available to all licensed amateurs everywhere in the world and is issued to them as individuals for all county contacts made, regardless of calls held, operating QTHs, or dates. Special USA-CA Awards are also available to SWLs on a heard basis.

WAZ award

The CQ Worked All Zones (WAZ) Award and its variations are issued to any licensed amateur station presenting proof of contact with the appropriate number of CQ zones (40) of the world.

WPX award

The CQ WPX Award recognizes the accomplishments of confirmed QSOs with the many callsign prefixes used by amateurs throughout the world. Separate, distinctively marked certificates are available for SSB, CW, Digital (RTTY/PSK) and Mixed (CW, SSB/Phone, Digital).
