This award is sponsored by the Kharkiv Regional Society for amateur radio, which recognizes the 73rd anniversary of the liberation of Kharkov by the invading German armies. During the war, the city was liberated and re-invaded a number of times, but finally on August 23, 1943, it was liberated permanently. In memory of the soldiers who participated in the liberation of the city, the Kharkiv Regional Society for amateur radio established the "KHARKIV liberation."diploma.
To obtain the diploma necessary during the period from 20 th to 25 th August 2016 to earn 73 points byh making QSOs with stations of Kharkiv and Kharkiv region.
1. QSOs with club stations, veterans of the Second World War and portable stations operating from memorial sites, = 10 points.
2. Individual different station in Kharkov = give 3 points.
3. Repeated QSO count if contacted on different bands.
4. All QSOs made on 23 August points are doubled.
Kharkov applicants may receive the award by making at least 37 QSO with other stations..
Upon confirmation of the application, a diploma in electronic format will be e-mailed to the applicant..
