Rules

The award issued by the Russian CW Club. To obtain the award, it is necessary to perform 2-way QSOs (SWLs) with Special Call Stations which will operate for the time of marathon period.

Participation period: from 23.July.2016 00:00 MSK (GMT: 22.July.2016 21:00) till 23.Aug.2016 23:59 MSK (GMT: 23.Aug.2016 20:59).

QSOs have to be made using CW mode only.

Bands: All the CW portions of the HF amateur radio bands, including WARCs, but excluding the Top Band, 5MHz and 50MHz. (10, 12, 15, 17, 20, 30, 40, 80 meters bands).

A QSO with each of the special station counts on every band and only once.

The award is free of charge and issues in electronic form to each amateur radio station complies with terms and conditions of the award.

Terms and conditions: Special call sign operators will upload their logs on the R-CW-C website, R16CWC LOG. Dupes will be automatically deleted.

 

The award has 3 grades.

 

3rd GRADE AWARD: There is minimum of 22 QSOs with any of the special station on any of the mentioned bands.

2nd GRADE AWARD: It is compulsory to have a QSO with R16CWC and RV16CW.

The 3rd grade award terms have to be completed (minimum of 22 QSOs).

At least 5 bands have to be disposed for communication with Special Stations.

Award numeration will be in accordance with score number.

1st GRADE AWARD:

It is compulsory to have a QSO with R16CWC and RV16CW.

At least 6 bands have to be disposed for communication with Special Stations.

Award numeration will be in accordance with score number.

It is possible to check personal performance for the Telegraph marathon period on the RCWC website , using the R16CWC LOG. There are similar terms and conditions for SWLs (instead of QSO's 2-WAY SWL reports) and there is similar Award form.

Award claimed scores must be sent no earlier than 23.Aug.2016 until 22.Sep.2016 to Award manager..

It is every award seeker responsibility to check the award grade within R16CWC LOG. prior to sending a claim form to the Award manager ( This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. ).

A text written claim form must contain requested award grade and an information about award's seeking personal details (eg.: Name, Last Name, Callsign and e-mail). File name must contain your call sign and the Award name (eg.: marathon_rm4c). The manager will respond with award issuance till the end of the year 2016.
