CROSS COUNTRY AWARD

This award is issued by EDR.

Requirements:

Scandinavian Amateurs:

Class 1: 70 points and confirmed QSO with all counties plus Greenland.

Class 2: 50 points and confirmed QSO with at least 10 counties.

European amateurs : 50 points.

All other amateurs: 40 points.

 

General:

1. The award is available to licensed amateurs.

2. Contacts between April 1st, 1970 and December 31th, 2006 are valid.

3. The award is issued for either CW or all Phone.

4. The fee for each award is 30 DKK, 6IRC or 6$.

Rules for Scandivavian radio amateurs:

Each contact on 3.5, 7, 14, 21, 28 and 144 Mhz counts as one point.

Each contact on 432 Mhz count as two points.

On 3.5 and 7 Mhz three stations must be contacted in each county.

On 14, 21, 28 and 144 Mhz four stations must be contacted in each county.

On 432 Mhz five stations must be contacted in each county.

 

Rules for other radio amateurs in Europe:

The callsign is used as the basis for the award. Each prefix OZ1 to OZ9 and OX3 must be contacted. Two contacts with each call prefix are permitted on each band with exeption of OX3 where nine contacts are permitted on each band.

 

Each contact counts as one point with the exeption of 432 Mhz where each contact counts as two points.

 

Rules for radio amateurs outside Europe:

The callsign is used as the basis for the award. Each prefix OZ1 to OZ9 and OX3 must be contacted. Three contacts with each call prefix are permitted on each band with the exeption of OX3 where nine contacts are permitted on each band. Each contact counts as one point with the exeption for 432 Mhz where each contact counts as two points. Only OX3 are valid for Greenland.
